On April 10, 2025, I started hiking the 411-mile Oregon Coast Trail. It was challenging, cathartic, magical, surprising, and it completely changed my life. Even though I’ve published more than 20,000 words (so far) about the experience, this stunning coastline and the adventure it blessed me with really deserves a visual spotlight.
That’s why I’m producing a video series that combines the photos and videos I captured with the travelogue-style blogs I’ve been writing. Well, that’s not the only reason why. The truth is, I’ve sincerely missed creating content like this. I want you to see as much of that wonderful journey as possible. I want you to hear my in-the-moment commentary. And I want you to understand why it had such a powerful impact on me.
Today I’m super excited to debut the trailer for that YouTube series. (I’m also aiming to bring it to PeerTube).
I’m hoping to release Episode 1 mid-November, alongside the new Seasons of Jason podcast.
